Welcome to the Cross
Plains High School web site on behalf of our staff and myself. We
believe our school is a very unique place and are pleased to share
information about our campus with you.
Our school has much
strength and our students, staff, and community take pride in our
education system. We are always striving to improve our practices to
insure our school provides a highly competitive education for our
students.
Cross Plains High
School is very proud to offer a wide range of academic programs for all
students.
We provide a
rigorous Pre-AP program and curriculum for our students who envision
being college-bound. This program culminates in AP (Advance Placement) &
Dual-Credit courses through Cisco Junior College. Our students can earn
up to 30 college hours toward their Bachelors’ Degree before they
graduate from Cross Plains High School. Our curriculum also includes
career and technology (Tech Prep) training, with articulation agreements
for Advanced Technical Credit with several area Jr. Colleges and
Technical Colleges. Along with valuable trade skills these agreements
earn students credit toward their (2 year) Associates Degree during
their attendance at Cross Plains High School.
Our general
curriculum includes: Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Vocational
Agriculture, Family Consumer Science, Computer and Media Technology,
Foreign Language, and Fine Arts.
I know you will
learn much about Cross Plains High School from the information contained
on our web site.
In closing, I want
to thank our parents, community members, and businesses for the
continued support you provide so unselfishly. Let me also extend a
standing invitation to visit our school, as we are always delighted to
share and show off the many wonderful things that our students are doing
on a daily basis. Our commitment is to provide the very best of
instruction and opportunities for our students, so that they can compete
successfully in a rapidly expanding global environment. They deserve our
very best everyday!
Sincerely,
