CROSS PLAINS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

May 9, 2006

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Cross Plains Independent School District will be held on May 16,  2006, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Administrative Board Room.  The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

OPEN MEETING

1. PRAYER
2. CANVASS VOTES FOR MAY 13, 2006 SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
3. SWEAR IN NEWLY ELECTED SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS
4. RE-ESTABLISH NEW BOARD
5. OPEN FORUM
6. READ AND APPROVE MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING
7. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON AGREEMENT FOR AUDIT SERVICES FOR 2006/07
8. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON ADVERTISING TO SELL OLD BUSES
9. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON BUILDING WAREHOUSE FOR CROSS PLAINS I.S.D.
10. EXECUTIVE SESSION
    1. DISCUSS RETIREMENT OF MITCHELL ATCHLEY
    2. DISCUSS PAY SCALE FOR AUXILIARY PERSONNEL
    3. DISCUSS EMPLOYMENT OF NEW EMPLOYEES
11. TAKE ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION ITEMS
12. REVIEW BILLS/FINANCIAL REPORT
13. ADJOURN

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will convene in such closed meeting in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Government Code.  Before any such meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting.  All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
