The Cross Plains I.S.D. Board of Trustees met in a regular meeting with the following members present: Vicki Dillard, Susan Schaefer, Burlie Taylor, Frankie Hyles, Jim Cook, Scott Childress and Kim Crockett.
The following administrators and guests were also in attendance: Supt. Jackie Tennison, H.S. Prinicipal Jimmie Cearley, and guests Debra Lowitzer and Mack McConal. Margie Sowell was absent.
Prayer was led by Burlie Taylor.
Minutes were approved as read.

Motion was made by Dillard and seconded by Schaefer to extend superintendent’s contract through August 2010. For 3/Against 4: Childress, Hyles, Crockett, Taylor
Motion was made by Crockett and seconded by Hyles to take no action on superintendent’s contract. For 4/Against 1: Dillard/Abstain 2: Cook, Schaefer
