The Cross Plains I.S.D. Board of Trustees met in a regular meeting with the following members present: Vicki Dillard, Susan Schaefer, Burlie Taylor, Frankie Hyles (late arrival), Jim Cook, Scott Childress and Kim Crockett.

The following administrators and guests were also in attendance: Supt. Jackie Tennison, H.S. Principal Jimmie Cearley, Elem. Principal Margie Sowell, and guests Ron Bagley, Nora Odom, Pat Stephens, Tonja Walker, Annette Nickerson and Marty Callaway.

Prayer was led by Burlie Taylor.

Minutes were approved as read.

Review and pay bills for the month of August.

Motion was made by Schaefer and seconded by Taylor to accept Texas Heritage Insurance for CPISD. For 6/Against 0

Motion was made by Cook and seconded by Hyles to approve the Integrated Pest Management program for 2006-07. For 7/Against 0

Motion was made by Taylor and seconded by Schaefer to approve contract with Global Training Academy for use of drug dog. For 7/Against 0

In executive session at 7:13 p.m./out of session at 7:50 p.m.

Motion was made by Taylor and seconded by Crockett to accept resignation of Patricia Cook with regrets. For 6/Against 0/Abstain: Cook

Motion was made by Cook and seconded by Dillard to hire Sheila Hamlin for aide position. For 7/Against 0

Motion was made by Taylor and seconded by Hyles to adjourn.
