NOTICE OF MEETING---BOARD OF TRUSTEES

August 21, 2006

A called meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Cross Plains Independent School District will be held on August 28, 2006, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Administrative Board Room. The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

1. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON AMENDMENTS 05-06

2. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO 05-06

3. ADOPT 06/07 BUDGET/SET TAX RATE

4. PERSONNEL

A. HIRE BUS DRIVER

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will convene in such closed meeting in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Government Code. Before any such meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
